For families with kids
Kids are always welcome at LOFC.
Family tables are available during worship so parents, grandparents, and kids can sit together
and keep their hands busy with crafts and other activities. Snacks, too!
If you prefer, the nursery with a well-trained, experienced caregiver is open for children birth - entering kindergarten.

Leap of Faith Staff
History
Leap of Faith Church was formed in April 2016 as a group of friends and neighbors gathered around the table in Gregg and Virgie Holbrook’s farmhouse kitchen to share their hope for a worship community that would be welcoming to all people.
The hope quickly became reality, and after worshiping for several weeks at the Holbrook house, LOFC moved first to the Pottsboro Public Library and then, in October 2016, to the Pottsboro Middle School cafeteria.
As the church added ministries for children and classes for teens and adults as well as fellowship opportunities for all, it expanded into the Pottsboro Middle School gym, where it developed the unique and noteworthy Leap of Faith Band, offering the church worship music in a variety of styles including bluegrass, folk, rock, disco, and blues as well as more traditional and familiar hymns. The professional musicians of the band are often joined by members of the Leap of Faith Music Collective.
In September 2019, LOFC moved into the building it now occupies at 5615 N. FM 1417 in Sherman, which gives the church a home of its own with doors that open to provide hospitality to all.
